Your online registration platform should have automatic reminders and notifications built in. Combine this with manual notifications to make sure people are up to date. Even with a Facebook event page and an up-to-date website, never assume your audience is checking for updates themselves. They might be busy, have a lot on their plate, or it could just slip their mind. Send out notifications when details and information changes so that nobody is left out of the loop.
